Derrell Bradford is President of 50CAN: The 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now, where he leads advocacy strategy, communications, and leadership development to advance educational equity nationwide. He previously served as Executive Director of NYCAN, Executive Vice President at 50CAN, and led Better Education for Kids (B4K) in New Jersey, where he played a pivotal role in passing the landmark “TEACH NJ” tenure reform. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade with Excellent Education for Everyone (E3), working on school choice and accountability initiatives.
A frequent commentator on issues of education, race, and opportunity, Bradford has been featured across print, digital, radio, and television platforms. He serves on the boards of Success Academy Charter Schools, yes. every kid., the PIE Network, and EdBuild.
